Join the Campaign
The join the campaign and have your voice heard is actually a very simple (and free) process. All you have to do to join is follow the steps below. There are other steps you can take to help support and further the campaign's cause, but are not necessary for you to support us. Simply follow the short instructions below, step by step. For this campaign to be effective and have a chance at succeeding, steps 1-4 absolutely have to be completed by every person who joins.
NOTE: Signing the petition is a great way to show your support, but please do not forget to pop off a quick email to us letting us know who you are. It will become necessary in the near future to be able to have ways to communicate with you.
Step 1

Tell them your name, where you are from, and your age (this is for demographics). Feel free to include any comments you may also have about the campaign or Star Trek. (See Privacy Policy)

Step 2
|
Spread the word to everyone you might know or come into contact with.
(MOST IMPORTANT STEP)
|
Tell friends, family, coworkers, children, etc. Send out e-mails and letters to anyone who might be agreeable to what the campaign stands for and would want to support it. The most important thing that Trek has going for it is the fan support, and the more we get the word out there, the more fans will want to join. The more support we get for this campaign, the more firepower and pressure we can give to Paramount and our chances of succeeding would be greatly enhanced.

Step 3

Write to Viacom and Paramount (both).
|
All you have to do is write one letter, but send it to both addresses. If you need help writing your letter, or if you need the address and contact information for Viacom and Paramount, go to the Letter Writing FAQ page.

Step 4
|
Sign the Save Star Trek Petition.

Step 5
|
Help us to post the news about our campaign.
|
We have signs, flyers and brochures to help spread the word. Feel free to E-mail us and request them so that you can also hand them out in your communities, shopping malls, churches, etc.

Step 6
|
Request a Meeting with the STFA.
|
The committee will be doing speeches, meetings, and conventions across the United States over the next few weeks and months. Our schedule will be posted on the
"About the STFA" page. If you would like to request that we come and speak about the campaign and it's goals or about the STFA with your club, organization or convention, go to the page listed above.

Step 7
|
Make a Donation
(This step is VOLUNTARY)

Click the button at left, or e-mail us for more information on how to make a donation. Any donation will be welcomed, as it will help us to further the cause of our campaign. Although we are a nonprofit organization (and none of the donations fund will be used for any person), it will still take some money for us to conduct our campaign.
